Supervised Visitation

Supervised visitation provides a neutral location so that non-custodial parents can interact with their child(ren) and focus on re-establishing or enhancing their relationship.

At FRC, the counselor interacts less with the parent and child than in supportive visitation. During supervised visitation the FRC counselor is there to observe, answer questions that the child or parent may have and protect the safety of the child should any inappropriate behavior happen.

From time to time, many families often need coaching as they interact with their children in the midst of life challenges. Supervised visitation allows this to occur in a non-invasive manner to help families meet their goals and work toward preserving the family.
